Circa 1960’s spinning, tilting, and rocking chair. with complimentary modern pouffe
The chair has been fully re-upholstered in Navy "Orkney" boucle wool by the fabulous @theislemill , with main outer fabric with @blackpopuk 's “Labyrinth" cotton velvet on the inner seat cushions. Both amazing British luxury fabric suppliers with great ranges that I love working with.
From photo research, I believe the chair is by Greaves and Thomas, a London based furniture maker whose furniture from the 1960s mirrored the style of modernist Danish designers.
The Pouffe has had a simple clean and recover in the same fabrics and works as a side table as well as putting your feet up. If you can stop twirling that is!
